The President-elect, Bola Tinubu has been urged to be personally involved in the zoning of the Senate Presidency.
Deji Adeyanju, a socio-political activist, said Tinubu should personally ensure that the Senate President is zoned to the Southeast.
In a post on Facebook, Adeyanju also suggested that the Northwest or North Central should get the Speaker.
According to Adeyanju: “President-Elect, Tinubu should personally be involved in ensuring the senate president position is zoned to the South East.
“We already have a Muslim-Muslim ticket in place and the incoming government is not balanced. North West or North Central should get Speaker.”
Meanwhile, there have been agitations for the Southeast to produce the next Senate President.
The Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, said Senator-elect, Dave Umahi should be considered as the next Senate President.
