Australian Nick Kyrgios has withdrawn from Wimbledon 2023 with a wrist injury.

He announced on Sunday evening that he had torn a ligament in his wrist during his comeback. Kyrgios was seeded 30th in SW19 and was set to face Belgian David Goffin in the opening round.

You will recall that Kyrgios lost to Novak Djokovic in last year’s men’s singles final and has only played one tournament this year because of a knee injury that required surgery.
