Dakkada Football Club has been given a clean bill of health after all their players underwent and passed routine medical checks ahead of the commencement of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

The checks which took place, Friday, at Nest of Champions, Uyo, were carried out on all retained and new-recruited players of the 2018/2019 NNL champions.

According to the Chairman of the Club, Coach Aniedi Dickson, who was on hand to witness the exercise, “This exercise is aimed at ensuring that all our players who will participate in the upcoming 2022/2023 NPFL are medically certified fit to do so”.

“At Dakkada Football Club, over the years, we have been known to pay priority attention to the wellbeing of our players and this year is not going to be any different”, Mr Dickson added.

The Chosen Ones were given the all-clear after the results of the various tests which were conducted came through, Sunday, including Echocardiography, ECG, Musculoskeletal System, Cardiovascular System, Full Blood Count, and Liver and Kidney Function, among others.

Dakkada will be campaigning in their fourth successive NPFL season since promotion when the 2022/2023 season begins.
