Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress had dissolved its presidential campaign council. The dissolution was disclosed by the PCC Director General, Governor Simon Lalong and the Secretary of the council, James Faleke. Governor Lalong commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his unflinching support for APC presidential candidate throughout the electioneering campaign, while thanking all the members of the PCC and supporters of the party for working assiduously for the resounding victory of the president-elect. Recall that, the ruling party inaugurated the PCC to campaign for Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima, last October in the build-up to the 2023 polls.
