The Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party at the National Collation Centre in Abuja on Monday protested the failure of the commission to ask its officials to upload the results on the INEC portal from the polling units.
They complained about widespread discrepancies in the results of the polls and asked the electoral commission to halt the proceedings at the collation center and address their complaints.
Following the refusal of the INEC Chairman, Mahood Yakubu, to heed the parties’ calls, some opposition parties on Monday staged a walkout during the announcement of results at the National Collation Centre, International Conference Centre, Abuja.
Recall, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, has been declared the winner of Saturday’s presidential election in Benue State.
Tinubu polled 310,468 to outpace Peter Obi of the Labour Party who scored 308,372 votes.
Also, Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party polled 130,081 votes to come a distant third, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party scored 4,740. 
Bola Tinubu, has also been declared the winner in Benue State.

While Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party polled 130,081 votes to come a distant third, while Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party scored 4,740. 
Bola Tinubu, who also won the presidential election in Zamfara State polled 298,396 votes to win the state. Tinubu won 12 out of 14 local government areas in the state, while the Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Atiku Abubakar, won two.
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Saturday’s presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, has defeated his opponents to win the Sokoto State elections with a total of 288,679 votes.
Atiku was keenly followed by the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, who scored a total number of 285,444 votes, while candidates of the Labour Party, Peter Obi and New Nigerian Peoples Party, Rabiu Kwankwaso, came third and fourth with a total of 6,568 and 1,300.  
Atiku Abubakar, also emerged winner of Saturday’s presidential election in Kebbi with 285,175 votes.
The State Collation Officer, Prof. Usman Saidu, while presenting the result in Birnin Kebbi said the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, polled 248,088 votes.
Saidu said the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, also scored 10,682 votes while the New Nigeria Peoples Party, scored 5,038 votes. 
The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, defeated the candidates of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu and Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar in Saturday’s presidential and National Assembly elections in Cross River State.
Peter Obi polled 179,917 to defeat the closest rival Tinubu who got 130,520 votes and Atiku who got 95,425 votes. 
In Enugu State, Labour Party won all the Presidential and National Assembly polls conducted last Saturday, except for Enugu West Senatorial district where Mr Osita Ngwu of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was declared the winner for the Senate position. 
Obi also swept through Edo State where the LP candidate has been declared winner in the state.
INEC’s collation officer in Edo State, Prof. Nyaudoh Ndaeyo said Obi polled 331,163 to win the state, while the APC candidate, Bola Tinubu scored 144,471. The PDP candidate, Atiku Abubakar came third by scoring 89,585, Rabiu Kwakwanso of the NNPP scored 2,743, while the ZLP scored 4082.
